1. Generally speaking, the ship power plant is mainly composed of seven parts: propulsion device, auxiliary power unit, pipeline system, deck machinery, anti-pollution equipment, emergency equipment and automation equipment.

Auxiliary devices refer to other energy-generating devices other than propulsion devices, including ship power stations, auxiliary boilers, hydraulic pump stations and air compressors, which respectively produce electricity, heat, hydraulic energy and compressed air for ship production and domestic use. The pipeline system is composed of various parts, pipelines, pumps, filters and heat exchangers, etc., which are used to transport various fluid working fluids to maintain the normal operation of various machinery of the ship.

3. Deck machinery is a general term for machinery set up to ensure the ship's course, anchor and berth, loading and unloading cargo and lifting and landing its own equipment, including steering gear, windlass, hinge machine, cargo lift, tailgate tail jump retraction system, davit and gangway lift, etc.

4. Anti-pollution equipment is used to treat oily sewage, domestic sewage, oil sludge and various garbage on the ship, including oil-water separation device (with oil discharge monitoring equipment), domestic sewage treatment device and incinerator.

5. Emergency equipment includes equipment set up for abandoning ship for survival or seeking help for life, equipment set up for engine room loss of power, equipment set up to avoid "paralyzed ship", etc., including lifeboats, help boats, emergency generators, emergency fire pumps, emergency steering gears and emergency air compressors, etc.

6. Automation equipment is set up to improve the working conditions of the crew, reduce the labor intensity and maintenance workload of the crew, improve the work efficiency and reduce the human operation error, including the remote control unit of the main and auxiliary machines, the automatic adjustment unit of temperature, pressure and liquid level, and the working condition monitoring, alarm and printing equipment of the equipment in the engine room.
